About
Born in the Finger Lakes of New York, Craig’s love of photography started in High School photographing friends at the local ski resort and on one of the many Finger Lakes windsurfing and wake boarding. In his early years, Craig crisscrossed the country seeking the deepest snow, consistent winds along the coast and all the wild places in between to document with his camera.
With his passion for the outdoors, public access to nature and the environment, Craig received a Master’s in Public Administration to pursue a career in public policy and advocacy. Photography shifted from snapshots of skiing and outdoor pursuits to understanding the importance and power an image has to educate and inform.
In addition to photography assignment and projects, Craig has expertise in content marketing, journalism and publishing. Experienced in corporate communications and the public sectors of governments and NGOs, Craig has the ability to not only visualize the story within the lens, but also the process of taking visual assets of stills and video to create additional impact points to advance the story and its importance, whether through print, social media & digital or broadcast mediums.
Craig participated in MediaStorm, an award-winning documentary film and interactive design production company, methodology program.
Craig Low Photo has a partnership with Great Bay Communications to assist clients in marketing, social media and public relations. Craig is based on Long Island, New York, and is available for local, regional and national assignments.
