Leaf Peeping and Hikes in the Connetquot River State Park Preserve

Connetquot River State Park Preserve. Sunday’s mild fall weather, with sunshine and warm temperatures, made for perfect hiking on nearly 50 miles of trails. The paths loop and cross the preserve’s 3,473 acres of brook trout streams, forests, fields and ponds. Exhibits at the fish hatchery and the historic Sportsmen’s Club main house explore the park’s history and habitats.
