Early Nor’easter brings high tides and flooding to Great South Bay Region

After several days of anticipation, the season's first major Nor'easter made its way up the East Coast, bringing gale-force winds, flooding rain and high tides to Long Island's South Shore. The Great South Bay region saw localized flooding and downed trees. An afternoon lull in the storm drew many to Robert Moses State Park to witness firsthand the power of Mother Nature and the raging sea.
